15-count indictment against DeKalb CEO Burrell Ellis

A grand jury handed down a 15-count indictment against DeKalb CEO Burrell Ellis June 18.

DeKalb District Attorney Robert James announced the charges listed in the 15-count indictment. The charges are criminal attempt to commit theft by extortion, conspiracy in restraint of free and open competition, criminal attempt to commit false statements and writings, theft by taking, conspiracy to defraud a political subdivision and coercion of other employee to give anything of value for political purposes.
