Interim CEO to deliver final state of the county address

Interim DeKalb County CEO Lee May will deliver his 2016 State of the County address during two events on March 10.

May will address the business community during a luncheon, Thursday, March 10, at 11:30 a.m., at the Thalia N. Carlos Hellenic Community Center, 2500 Clairmont Road NE, Atlanta.

WSB-TV news anchor Erin Coleman will sit down with May in a one-on-one conversation about the county’s accomplishments and goals for 2016. The business luncheon is hosted by the Council for Quality Growth and DeKalb Chamber of Commerce. Registration is required, with an admission price of $50 for council and chamber members, $75 for non-members and $500 per table. An evening address is scheduled for Thursday, March 10, at 7 p.m., at the Porter Sanford III Performing Arts Center, 3181 Rainbow Dr., Decatur. This event is free and open to the public, and no registration is required. WSB-TV news anchor Sophia Choi will serve as mistress of ceremonies for the evening address.
