In a 85,000-square-foot gaming room, 2,500 games—most push button but some of the one-armed bandit machines are for casual or serious play. One can play denominations of pennies, nickels or quarters; however, many machines require a minimum of multiples so a penny machine, for example, may require that 30 cents be played at one time. Machines take paper money or cash vouchers accrued from play on other machines. And there’s a high-limit salon.

Grill, Grill-to-go, Buffet, the upscale Fire Steakhouse, all offer a variety of dining and snack experiences ranging from sit-down fine dining to grab-and-go snacks.
Usually not a fan of buffets, I was pleasantly surprised by the overwhelming variety and quality of the food available at Buffet. Plenty of seafood, vegetables, chicken and meat dishes were well seasoned and nicely presented. Dinner prices ranges from $20 to $24 for adults, brunch price is $20 per adult.

Almost all the restaurants as well as the pool have views of the Coosa River.
Rooms are of generous size, with contrasting dark furniture such as a vast dresser/entertainment/work desk unit, textured wallpaper in greens, teals and grays. Even the wall art in the bedroom and bathroom are visually appealing and not cookie-cutter.
Entertainment in the form of national acts are featured at Wind Creek such as singer KEM who takes to the stage on Feb. 24.
Those looking for things to do outside the casino can head up the road 20 miles to Montgomery where historic, cultural, recreational and dining options abound.
