Stone Mountain High School (SMHS) will hold a Community Spirit Night Dec. 11 featuring basketball games between the Stone Mountain Pirates and Lady Pirates and Atlanta’s Booker T. Washington Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs.

The varsity boys’ competition will begin at 5:30 p.m. The Lady Pirates will take on the Lady Bulldogs at 7 p.m.

The elementary schools, who are also feeder schools for Stone Mountain High, will be participating in a pre-game East vs. West All-Star Game. Stone Mill and Stone Mountain Elementary schools will be competing for the East and Hambrick and Rockbridge Elementary schools will be competing for the West. The Pre-game begins at 4:30 p.m.

The event will also feature a halftime performance with a step team, drum line and dance team. There will be give-a-ways and an award ceremony.

This event is designed to highlight the successes at Stone Mountain High School to boost the morale of the student body, faculty and staff.

Tickets to the event are $3 in advance and $5 at the game.
