DeKalb County lowers flags for Boston victims

DeKalb County CEO Burrell Ellis has ordered all flags on county property to be flown at half-staff as a show of respect for the victims of the tragedy yesterday in Boston, Mass.

“As every other American and global citizen, I am saddened and appalled by the senseless attack and hope swift action is taken to capture the perpetrators of this heinous act.  Every resident in DeKalb County prays for the victims and their families,” Ellis said.

Flags will remain in half-staff until sunset, April 20.
