The community concerts provide a great opportunity to gather with friends and family to enjoy music in a beautiful, outdoor setting.”

Some of the other summer highlights include Kids to Parks Day (May 18) and the Groovin’ on the Green series opener (June 8). The Groovin’ series will feature nine acts performing at the Brook Run Park Amphitheater on the second Saturday of the month from June through October. All concerts will begin at 6 p.m. and are family friendly.

The events listed above are free and open to all. In addition to the community events, Dunwoody Parks and Recreation will offer new programs this summer. They include free Equalizer Health classes, free self-defense classes, Dwarf Goat Pilates and Meditation, and Tree Wellness Walks.
