Elderly man missing for days after last being spotted at his Decatur home

An elderly man who local police said has Alzheimer’s Disease has been missing for days after he was last seen at his home in Decatur.

Officials with the DeKalb County Police Department and family members of Ronnie Mack, 72, are asking for the public’s help in looking for the Decatur resident who has been missing since June 11.

According to police, Mack was last seen leaving the 2200 block of Wingfoot Place.

“He does not drive and was last seen in the area of Wingfoot Place at 3 a.m.,” said Linda Watson with Unlimited Community Connections, a social service agency. “Mr. Mack walks with a shuffle and a limp and he also uses a cane.”

Mack is described as 5’6 with salt and pepper hair and facial hairs. He weighs approximately 135 pounds and has brown eyes, according to police.

“My uncle is still missing,” said Mack’s niece Jahnara Glover. “Please keep an eye out for him.”
