Man dead after officer-involved shooting

One man is dead after an officer-involved shooting in Decatur Feb. 20.

According to a press release from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, DeKalb County Police Department officers were responding to the 1300 block of Balsam Drive at approximately 3:30 p.m. after a 911 call was received from a woman in “distress.” The woman did not provide her name or location.
