Nail salon joins array of new businesses in downtown Avondale Estates
Sugar Polish Nail Bar, which opened its first location in Athens in 2018, and has been expanding ever since, on Aug. 14 held the ribbon cutting for its newest location in Avondale Estates.
Describing itself as “a modern beauty destination creating safe, memorable, and luxurious experiences,” the salon is located at The Dale on North Avondale Road.
The Dale, which opened its first businesses in late 2025, has “a mix of offerings at Avondale Estate’s new commercial buildings anchoring the Town Green,” which the city of Avondale Estates says, “has rapidly evolved into a vibrant community hub, complete with an open-air pavilion, performance stage, children’s play area and expansive green space.”
On its website, Sugar Polish states that its goal is to “bring a new brand of salon that is uniquely vibrant and relaxed with a modern luxurious feel. We want to be able to create safe spaces where our clientele can feel beautiful head to toe with the range of nail, massage, and waxing services we provide.”
Sugar Polish states that it offers nail services from classic manicures to “an array of nail services that follow along with the latest trends.” Also, available are several different types of pedicures, including sugar scrubs and collagen, as well as waxing for hair removal or skin exfoliation, the website notes.
The website also states, “We have an exclusive vision to recognize and re-establish what we believe the industry has been lacking for many years.”
The Avondale Estates location joins a chain of Sugar Polish salons across Georgia. “It is our dream to not only expand regionally but nationally. We hope to expand our brand in the future to redefine the nail industry,” the website states.
