INTENNSE caps off 2026 season with historic growth
INTENNSE—a pro tennis league in Doraville—closed out its 2026 season on Aug. 1 at INTENNSE Arena at Assembly Studios, where the Freeze took home the league championship outlasting the Outriders 137-130.
The win also capped off a season of growth for the league across attendance, viewership, social media, and sponsorship, according to league organizers.
Built around the premise that professional tennis should be as entertaining as it is competitive, INTENNSE used its second season to show that its reimagined format can drive sustained growth, stated league officials.
Ticket sales at INTENNSE Arena more than tripled year over year, according to a news release. Nearly 8,000 fans attended across 28 events at the 500-seat arena, with nine sellouts. Ticket revenue grew more than seven times year over year, while revenue per match increased more than three times over 2025.
On social media, the league posted triple and quadruple-digit year-over-year growth across followers, impressions and engagement, with video consumption leading the way. Total audience grew to 56,000 followers across platforms, which is a 403.5 percent increase year over year, with net audience growth of 29,000 new followers, up 270 percent, according to officials.
Sponsorship revenue scaled sharply over the season as the league moved from emerging property to an established platform for corporate partners. INTENNSE closed the season with 13 partners, which led to 30,671 percent year-over-year increase in corporate partner revenue.
“When we look back at the 2026 season, what stands out isn’t just the growth, it’s that every part of the business grew together,” said Charles Allen, CEO of INTENNSE. “Our fans in the arena, our audience at home, and our partners all showed up in bigger numbers than we imagined, and Freeze and Outriders delivered a championship Arc that matched the season. This is the foundation we are continuing to build on.”
Officials state that together, the numbers point to a league that is not just growing, it is building a durable fan base, a proven broadcast product and a sponsorship platform that corporate partners and investors are eager to be part of heading into 2027.
